Luke 1:78-79 ESV
because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high [79] to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Why did Jesus so often go off to pray alone? Why did moses and Paul take so long to start doing God’s will? Because to be filled with what needs to be given from his servants we need to be emptied of all of all noise from the world. When we come to be filled of the Holy spirit we need to be empty vessels to be filled with God’s love and peace, his pure righteousness. Then we can pour out what we have been given, not what is inside of us the defiled us.
